Signature Ag Workers, Inc. is a Kentucky nonprofit corporation and IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-2605524, determination dated May 29, 2026). We improve the health, safety, and economic security of agricultural workers and strengthen the small family farms that employ them.
Mission
To improve the health, safety, and economic security of agricultural workers — particularly H-2A and H-2B visa workers and migrant and seasonal farm workers — and to strengthen the small family farms that employ them.
Vision
An agricultural economy where every worker arrives legally, is housed safely, is trained in their own language, has health coverage, and works for a farm equipped to keep them safe.
How we make a difference.
Small family farms cannot afford the time or expertise to handle H-2A compliance, ACA enrollment, OSHA training, and safety equipment on their own.
Workers face language, immigration, and information barriers that block access to legal jobs, coverage, and safety education.
When we remove those barriers — paying qualified vendors, delivering bilingual training and enrollment on-farm, and donating safety equipment — workers are safer and farms stay viable employers of legal labor.
We measure our impact: health enrollments, training hours delivered, equipment distributed, farms participating, and injuries prevented.

Farm workers & families
Migrant, seasonal, and H-2A/H-2B agricultural workers and their families — who receive safety training, health-coverage enrollment, rights education, and life-safety equipment.
Small family farms
Small farms (under 500 total workers, including seasonal) that receive technical assistance and equipment enabling them to comply with the law and keep workers safe.
Where we work
Kentucky (statewide), Northern Tennessee, and North Carolina (statewide) — the small-farm regions with the heaviest seasonal and H-2A labor.
Our board.
Signature Ag Workers is governed by a volunteer board of directors, including an independent director who reviews any related-party matter. Directors serve without compensation.
Leads the Foundation's strategy, partnerships, and outreach to farms and workers.
Oversees the Foundation's finances, banking, and financial controls.
Maintains records, governance documentation, and program acknowledgments.
Advises on program delivery and community relationships.
Non-affiliated director who reviews all related-party transactions under the Foundation's conflict-of-interest policy.
How we operate. For vendor-paid programs, the farmer chooses the provider from a published Qualified Vendor List; the Foundation pays the vendor directly and never makes cash payments to a farm. The Foundation operates under written bylaws, a conflict-of-interest policy, and a related-party-transactions policy, and never pays farm payroll, taxes, insurance premiums, or capital improvements.
